This low-cost, compact and stylishly designed alarm clock projects a large clear image of the time onto a nearby wall or ceiling.
It displays the time in 24 hour format - that's European or military style (e.g. 00:00 to 23:59). It also displays the date and day (the day is not projected onto the wall) at the push of a button.
When operated on two AA batteries (which typically last 1 year) the clock only projects the time when the snooze button on top is pressed (or any other button).
It is ideally located in a darkened bedroom with the clock on a side table and the time projected onto a side wall. The projection lens can be rotated so that it can be shown higher up on the wall or on the ceiling.
The projection can be turned off if necessary and can be permanently turned on when the 3V 300mA plug pack is connected.
It makes an ideal gift for kids or for people who travel or those that have trouble reading small LCD displays in the middle of the night!
The unit measures 80x110x80mm (3.1x4.3x3.1") and comes with batteries and a 12 months warranty.
Comes with FREE 240VAC mains adapter so the projected display can be turned on permanently!
The Oregon Scientific RA-622P is a quality projector alarm clock with inside temperature and day and date display.
The time is displayed in 24 hour format (e.g. 00:00 to 23:59) and it provides the seconds, date and day of the week.
It also has a Hi-Glo LCD backlight that provides sufficient brightness to act as a security light (it operates for 5 seconds whenever the snooze/light button on top is pressed).
The great thing about the projector clock with this unit is that the projected time is very clear with focus adjustment and rotation ability - that means you can turn the image sideways or up-side-down for best viewing on the wall or ceiling when you're lying down!
Comes with batteries, 240VAC mains power adapter (allows you to permanently turn on the projected time) with 12 months warranty.

Further information on the RA622P: The display unit measures 92x167x53mm or 3.6x6.6x2.1" (HxWxD), requires 2 x AA alkaline batteries and displays indoor temperature from -5 to 50°C (23 to 122°F) with a resolution of 0.1°.
Operational Tips on the RA622P: (a) Don't forget about the reset switch in the battery compartment of the RA622P. This resets the unit after a battery change. (b) A switch is provided below the battery compartment. When switched OFF, the projected time operates only when the 'snooze/light' button is pressed. When switched ON and the mains adapter unit is plugged in, the projected time operates continuously. (c) The day of the week may be displayed in (E) English, (F) French, (D) German, (I) Italian or (S) Spanish. (d) The 'MEM' pushbutton displays the minimum and maximum temperature display. Pressing it for more than 2 seconds resets the min. and max. temperatures. (g) The up/down pushbuttons are used to set the time & date etc. but are also used to scroll forwards and backwards through the calendar displaying the phases of the moon. This is useful when planning a night hike or astronomy lesson or when observing wildlife animal activity (and other research). It can also be used to check the lunar or Chinese calendar.
