Finally, after a 4 year wait for a new girl, Cora arrived in Australia in December 2004. Thankfully she survived both the long flight and 30 days in quarantine without any problems.
Importing from Europe is never easy and extremely costly and Cora has proved to be no exception. My heartfelt thanks must go to the Eckerts for letting me have this gorgeous girl and even more so to Nathalie Mayer and her family who looked after her so well before her departure to France where she stayed with Hein and Metha, who are seasoned pros when it comes to exporting dogs to the antipodes, for about 3 months. Without Nathalie's and Hein's help, she would not be here. Click here to see her pedigree and health tests
