First formed in 1996
Performing Bush Dances and Concerts in and around Sydney, the Central Coast and Canberra. At such venues as Clubs, Schools, Parties, "Backyard Blitz", Parramatta Street Fair during the Olympics and at various Local Festivals.
Amanda Daly
Mandolin, Tenor Banjo, Piano and Vocals. Amanda has found her forte in the Mandolin, after years of dabbling with the Guitar & Piano
Don Richmond
Dance caller, Piano Accordion, Button Accordion, Tin Whistle, Bones, Tea Chest Bass, Lager Phone, Piano and Vocals. Don is one of Sydney’s most popular and experienced Dance Callers. He is also a teacher of Australian Traditional Dance with the Sydney Bush Music Club.
John Daly
Guitar, Banjo, Percussion and Vocals. Since the late 60’s John has been a keen folk musician and has gathered a large repertoire of Australian and Anglo-Celtic folk songs. He is also a collector of Aussie humour, which he insists on inflicting on the audience.
Samantha O'Brien
Flute and tin whistle. Sam is a long term member of the "Heritage Ensemble". She has also been a music teacher and is passionate in maintaining the traditions of Australian Bush Music.
Bob Foggin
Fiddle, Tenor Banjo, Mandolin and Vocals. Bob's played in many Bush Bands over the years. He is an entrenched member of the "Heritage Ensemble" and has even appeared in a recent production of the Australian musical "Reedy River"
All band members are active members of the Sydney Bush Music Club, many of them having served on the committee. We are, also, all members of the Heritage Ensemble, performing for many of the Bush Balls in Sydney.
Our extensive repertoire of both traditional and original songs and dance tunes, together with great musicianship and Aussie humour, make for a professional, high energy and entertaining performance.
