All retreats will be for 3 days (from the Friday evening meal until Monday after lunch), with an option of 2 days (from the Friday evening meal until Sunday after lunch). The cost is around $160 for 2 days, and $235 for 3 days.

Sydney Centre has been conducting retreats since August 1998 at Hartzer Park, Burradoo, which is about 2 hours drive south-west of Sydney. This is a large Catholic convent set in beautiful parkland, ideal for a silent retreat. There are 50 single rooms, with a hand-basin and room heater. It is run by the nuns who look after us unobtrusively, including preparing vegetarian meals.

There are photos from some of the retreats which were held in August 1998, February 1999, October 1999, March 2000, October 2000, May 2001, September 2001, March 2002, September 2002, May 2003, September 2003, March 2004, October 2004 (Kincumber) & March 2005, and then almost every March and October thereafter... Not all photos are available here. Devotees have come from Newcastle, Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, the Blue Mountains, North Queensland and various country towns. Participants have increased in number from 16 at the first retreat to 50 (which is our limit) at more recent ones.
