- Troy and Chris Haigh lounging around
A very special night was experienced when a sellout
crowd of Country Music Lovers were invited into Troy Cassar-Daley's lounge room
set up in the Scully Room at Southgate Inn. Troy, as well as being one of
the best singer, songwriter and guitarists in Australia, also proved to be
the perfect host as he welcomed us into the intimate atmosphere created by
himself and ably assisted by bass guitarist Chris Haigh to a night of musical
entertainment that varied between foot tapping to lump in the throat
ballads. Troy even rang for an Eagle Boy Pizza to share with his friends as you
would when entertaining guests (only after answering Troy's tricky trivia
questions). The night ended all too soon and left everybody
with a warm, fuzzy glow that will be remembered as having a relaxing night with
the very talented and all round nice guy, Troy Cassar-Daley.
