This site showcases an eclectic mix of artforms spanning a diverse range of
tastes, styles, techniques, media and degrees of seriousness.

The only thing they all have in common is that they were all created by one person, Gavin Ryan.

From his home studio and gallery framed by the rocky slopes of Magnetic Island National Park and
overlooking the expanse of Horseshoe Bay sheltered waters of the Great Barrier Reef lagoon, Ryan's restless artistic curiosity conjures this bewildering assortment of creations.
From detailed, realistic paintings capturing the profusion of life in the land and sea all around him to children's book illustration and postage stamp design, to visual puns and rude cartoons, wild abstraction to large public art projects in sculpture or mural, to screen print to video animation, audio soundscapes and music to his infamous “Toadscapes”, all will be here revealed....
